He then lifts his head, the music builds, and he reveals his face: he's a bearded fellow sporting sunglasses?

The close-up unravel doesn't really evoke the big 'a-ha' moment the trailer plays towards...but Capcom certainly hints it should be one.

Could it be the confirmation of what earlier trailers assumed? That this fellow is actually Luis Sera from Resident Evil 4?

Luis did die in that game's third act, but since when has that kept a series' favourite character away from a dramatic return?

The Spanish accent, taste in leather, parted hair, and spring-in-his-step, all allude to the character, who appears to have lost his Latin lover good looks and become slightly grizzled and sinister with age.

With the heavy references to Resident Evil 4 throughout this game marketing, it's not far-fetched to think a major character would be brought back into the fold.
