Resident Evil 8 Wishlist: 10 Things We Want To See

6. Multiple Playable Characters

Although Resi 7 technically features more than one playable character, it's not in the fashion that the series is traditionally known for.

Letting you play as other characters for short, isolated periods of time, the gameplay doesn't change depending on who you're playing as, and in most cases the quality drops massively every time you're put in the shoes of someone else.

Instead of letting players take control of a completely different character for an entirely separate section of the game like in the latest release then, the next sequel should return to the franchise's roots by allowing players to experience the same game from two entirely different perspectives.

The different playthroughs don't have to be made up of completely original material, and even small changes between them like different enemy placements or slightly altered jump-scares would go a long way in increasing the title's replayability.
