1. Hammy Voice Acting
With the later games, the voice acting has improved somewhat, but definitely up to Code Veronica, it stinks to the highest heaven. The original Resident Evil is bad enough but for worst voice acting honours, Code Veronica takes the first prize. Claire and Chris are okay but that little prick Steve is totally over the top, so much so that he is wildly entertaining, especially when he shoots his zombified dad and he screams "FATHER!!!". I'm sure it is meant to be a poignant moment but the voice actor renders it unintentionally hilarious. Code Veronica is also the home of the horribly over acted Alexia and Alfred Ashford. Alfred in particular has the most mincing, camp voice I have ever heard anywhere in life. Oh and the deranged chuckles that are obligatory at the end of every sentence of Alfred and Alexia. Its like nails on a blackboard. And Wesker gets in on the diabolical laughter action right at the end of Code Veronica when he faces off with Chris. Wesker does not need to chuckle like this to show he's a bad guy. We know already. Respect.
