4. Back to the Streets
Saints Row is game series about gangsta life and rising to the top. Saints Row 3 had nothing to do with the street, it was just so many different goofy things happening all at once I have trouble remembering what it really was about in general. Obviously going all super serious would end up like a GTA4 without Brucie. Its the slightly exaggerated nature of SR1 and SR2 that embraced being a gang member but also made into somewhat of funny thing, that was beautiful. Where were the 40s and blunts? Maybe its just me, but in SR1 and SR2, I would drink all four available 40s and then hop in the car to see how it faired for me. It was dumb but fun, isn't that that Saints Row really is? A game that borders on serious and silly, without jumping into one or the other. If we can find that karma balance in SR4, maybe the series can become great once more. If not itll be another goofy mess like SR3 or a snore-fest like Grand Theft Auto 4.
