3. Shop Variety
This was something of a huge pester to me in Saints Row 3, Saints World had everything(which wasnt much really) in one shop. Yeah there was a few things in the other shop, but hardly. In my opinion there is something awesome about starting with crappy acid washed jeans and a tank top, then working your way up to affording a damn pair of sweet shoes from the High End districts store. I understand they wanted it to be easier to make your character look the way you want straight from the get go, but it takes away from the fun of checking out all the stores to see what things are spread about the map. There is a somewhat strange joy involved in assembling your perfect outfit, the difficulty almost adds to that joy. I understand why it was done, but it does destroy that joy. One other thing that is related, and possibly more important. If I want to wear a jacket, I want to pick the shirt underneath it. Picking the layers to your clothes in Saints Row 2 was awesome, any jacket and shirt combo was there for you to decide what looked best on your killer. No damn leather jackets with polo shirts underneath, who even wants that?
