4. Dirge (Colossus #10)

Dirge is certainly one of the game's most epic enemies, a giant sand-snake with a slightly tricky key to defeat that might leave you stumped for quite a while.

Still, it's hugely thrilling riding Agro while sitting backwards and firing arrows at the creature's eye, until you can coax it into crashing and then attack its weak points.

Totally at odds with some of the game's slower, more lumbering colossi, Dirge will nip at Agro's heels and can cause huge damage if you're not careful, but once you figure out his weakness, it's a pretty easy fight. The intensity level here is off the charts, making it a ludicrous load of fun.
