5. Disable Tutorials

It seems incredible that the ability to disable tutorials should be on a list of secrets, but EA have made it a very difficult task. For experienced Sims players, it can be infuriating to receive constant tooltips advising you on how to do anything from designing a sim's face to placing a table. To disable the tutorials, you'll need to exit the game and open up Origin. From there, right-click The Sims 4 game cover and click "View Game Properties". Once that menu has popped up, click "Game Properties" and add (without speech marks) "--no_tutorial" to the Command Line Arguments box. Just click Apply, load up The Sims 4 as normal, and enjoy an experience with minimal hand-holding!
