4. A Better Mode Of Transport
When I first slid Skyrim into my PlayStation 3 and booted up the game, I remember being struck down by awe at the sheer size and scale of the map. I very nearly abandoned the game because the very prospect of traversing the seemingly never-ending terrain was just too daunting. You have to remember that unless you had discovered a location you couldn't fast-travel to it, which meant initially you had to go everywhere on foot, because in the early stages of your play-through you certainly couldn't afford to procure a horse, and you were too weak to withstand an enemy chasing you down if you stole one. Walking for miles and miles through Skyrim's universe was a huge chore and an incredibly tedious task to endure. I think Bethesda should come up with a better way for us to traverse the map in Skyrim 6 - I don't quite know how, though. Perhaps horse and carts could be a more prominent feature with drivers willing to take you anywhere (and not just to the select few places offered to us in V). For instance, you could ask where the nearest known bandit hideout is and ask to be taken to it, or dropped off nearby. Horses could also perhaps be offered to us more freely, and Bethesda could possibly remove the buying element of a steed and just let us have free-reign of one. This is a lawless place we're talking about, after all.
