Skyrim: 16 Best Mods Of All Time

2. Follower - Inigo

Now here, I'm labelling follower as any humanoid or animal that will join you on your adventure. But even with the wider parameters, Inigo still takes the prize.

His story is he failed in an attempt to kill you and has ended up in Riften's jail along with his pet dragonfly. After freeing him, the blue Khajit will follow you as amends for his assassination attempt, protecting you from harm and commenting on every step of the journey.

Inigo has around 2000 lines of uniquely voice dialogue, a number that is higher than some decent quest mods out there! He'll level up with your character, interact with the world around him including other NPCs. His in-game programming also makes him one of the more intelligent followers as he'll actively avoid traps, be silent when sneaking and whistle for warnings or distraction.

He also has a small questline attached to him which stems from so-called "mind vibrations". Such a level of love and detail is something to be admired. Hats off to this smart blue cat, as well as his author... SmartBlueCat.

Runners Up:

Sofia, the funny fully voiced follower - A hilarious companion, filled to the brim with funny dialogue that gets even better when she's drunk.

Blaze of Eventide - A flame-cloaked horse that explodes on command and leaves a trail of fire in its wake.

Dovahbear - Based on the popular web-series, this Dragonborn bear will launch your enemies into the stratosphere at your beck and call.
