SNES Classic Mini: 20 Video Games It Must Have

12. Mega Man X

Mega Man X was not Mega Man 10 - despite the NES entries going from the original up to 6 - and carrying on until number 7 on the Super Nintendo.

The Mega Man games were all about classic action platforming; varied stages, bosses galore and challenging difficulty kept players coming back again and again.

The X series was technically a spin-off from the main series and once again thrust a popular series into the 16-bit era with great graphics and music and buttery smooth gameplay that introduced wall-climbing and dash moves.

Mega Man represents another big-name franchise from the 1980s and 1990s that is twinned with Nintendo and is therefore a must for the SNES Mini.

Bryan Langley’s first console was the Super Nintendo and he hasn’t stopped using his opposable thumbs since. He is based in Bristol, UK and is still searchin' for them glory days he never had.
