Spider-Man: Miles Morales - 10 Major Characters Who Must Appear

Although he's referenced during Spider-Man PS4, Mysterio is one of the most famous villains from Spidey lore who is almost completely missing from the first title.

The scene in the original game where 'Mysterio' shows up is brilliant. At a Halloween party, Peter encounters somebody dressed like Mysterio and follows him into a house of mirrors after being smoke bombed. After a brief exchange (including being fired at with what appears to be a nerf gun), Peter unmasks the doppelganger and gamers were left with a big smile on their face at the reference to Mysterio.

In the lore of the games, Spider-Man has already defeated Mysterio at some point, as you can find a piece of his helmet as a collectable.

Why not introduce Mysterio instead in the Miles Morales game? While Peter has had his share of encounters with Mysterio, Miles has encountered and fought with him multiple times too. Perhaps Mysterio is out for revenge, and fancies taking it out on Peter's new protoge?

Mysterio being introduced could have some really cool implications on the gameplay too. Given Mysterio's mind-bending powers, could we possibly see something similar to the Scarecrow hallucinations from the Arkham games?
