The statue of Lockjaw the Bulldog can be found in one of the game's secret hideouts. It's a smaller version of the same statue that can be found in Spider-Man (2018). The first statue could be found on Wall Street in place of the bull that is traditionally there.

Lockjaw was a larger-than-life Inhuman Bulldog with the ability of teleportation. The Inhumans themselves were a group of heroes that lived on the moon and got their powers from aliens, and you'd be forgiven if you haven't watched the TV series that aired in 2017.

Inhumans were also introduced in the Agents of SHEILD series - people who were descendants of humans that had been experimented on by a race of aliens called the Kree. After exposure to a Terrigen-crystal or gas, their genetic code was altered to give them their superhuman abilities. The same concept was used in Marvel's Avengers, though that game isn't thought of quite so positively as Miles Morales.
