9. The Boat Men
Back in the 2018 game, players noticed that the NPCs who sailed around the island in boats were not as beautifully rendered as their city-street counterparts as they were never intended to be seen up close.
However, with thanks to Photo Mode that was added later as an update, these sailors became a popular meme among the fan community and is something that the developers at Insomniac have embraced.
In both Miles-Morales and the remastered version of the original game, if you go venturing for those same NPCs, you will find that they look as exactly the same as their previous iterations, except this time they have a post-it note pinned to their chest reading "Did you miss us?"
It's fun to see Insomniac embracing the community and leaving references like this for everyone to enjoy.
