Spider-Man PS4: 10 Most INFURIATINGLY Difficult Moments

1. The Helicopter Chase

One of the most famous, show-stopping sequences in the entire game, Spider-Man's helicopter chase involves flying around New York city in pursuit of a helicopter causing havoc with a large container and a collapsing crane.

As well as being a fast-paced chase mission, always toughies in this game, this helicopter has Demons armed with rocket launchers that they will sporadically fire at Spider-Man, meaning that not only do players have to catch up with the helicopter by navigating dodgy turns and different altitudes, but their momentum is constantly being randomly halted by the need to quickly duck out of the line of an incoming missile.

Once players are able to finally catch up with the helicopter, the second stage of the mission involves clinging onto the vehicle and, whilst dodging out of the way of the Demon inside and their attacks, pulling off the engines. Managing to web the Demon buys a second or so extra time, but it's still barely enough to spam 'O' for long enough to disable the engine, which always leads to more than a few annoying instances of falling off the helicopter and having to start again.

This whole sequence is still pretty early in the game, and really pushes every swing and reflex mechanic players have learned so far. It's certainly memorable, but it's also ridiculously punishing at times.
