9. Appearances From Other Marvel Superheroes

Although it's been confirmed that other Marvel games are in the works, like the upcoming Avengers project at Square Enix, the people involved in these titles have remained coy as to whether any cross-brand integration is possible.

Unlike the MCU which happily allows characters to flow from project to project, there's no word yet on whether the upcoming Spidey game will only focus on one Marvel superhero, or bring in others from across the universe.

While it might benefit the title in the long run if it focuses purely on Peter Parker alone, bringing in other characters from across different franchises would immediately separate this game from ones that have come before (bar a few exceptions like Web of Shadows), and, if done right, could make the superhero's world feel larger than ever before.

Insomniac may have already been teasing the existence of other superheroes in their universe, with the Sanctum Santorum allegedly being spotted in one of the game's trailers, meaning there's a good chance Spidey won't be the only superhero in town.
