Spider-Man PS4: 11 Fan Demands That Must Happen

6. Stealth That Isn't Terrible

Spider-Man PS4 Stealth Gameplay
Insomniac

Although Spider-Man's myriad of powers suit stealth gameplay as much as outright action, no games have quite capitalised on this aspect of the superhero.

Beenox's attempts at the Web Head did have stealth segments but they were a little rudimentary and unrefined, and while it felt amazing to web enemies up from the shadows, after seeing the same animations and following the same patterns over and over again, it all got pretty old.

From the initial gameplay trailers it seems as though Insomniac aren't throwing away this part of the hero's arsenal entirely, but the stealth sequences they've shown off so far don't look all that different from what fans have seen in previous games.

The developers are known primarily for their bombastic action set-pieces, but if they want to create gameplay scenarios that offer players a little bit of freedom, they need to make sure sneaking around and performing spectacular takedowns isn't an afterthought.
