4. Peter Parker And Spider-Man Conflict

Spider-Man became such a pop-culture phenomenon not only because of his unique powers, striking villains and amazing stories (I mean, those of course helped), but because of how relatable the hero was.

Just a regular down-on-his-luck guy who had to balance fighting crime and saving the world with being a penniless student trying to keep up his grades, the struggle that being Spider-Man put on Peter's personal life made his adventures all the more captivating.

Fortunately, it seems as though Insomniac have recognised the importance of this aspect of the hero and will be putting a lot of focus on Peter outside of the suit. Sadly, previous games have attempted to tell stories about the character's dual identity before and failed miserably, but the upcoming title needs to nail this dynamic if it wants to create a compelling central narrative.

Peter and Spidey go hand in hand, and Insomniac's take on the Web Head could be the first that finally captures the conflict between Peter Parker and his alter ego.
