Spider-Man PS4: 8 New Easter Eggs You Need To See
4. Classic Daily Bugle Staffers Revealed
Shifting attention to the Bugle's online edition now, and there are more references fans are sure to appreciate.
Among the paper's most famous contributors include Ben Urich, Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant, Kat Farrell and (in some interpretations) Eddie Brock. Four of the five just mentioned are confirmed to exist in Insomniac's New York.
Spidey fans in particular will recognise the names of Robertson and Brant. The former worked as a senior editor at the Bugle in the comics, with J. Jonah Jameson always close by, while the latter was Peter Parker's first love interest at the Bugle. She too is a reporter now, and with JJ having left to found his own online talkshow, the responsibility of running the Bugle has now fallen to Robbie.
Daredevil fans in particular will be excited by the confirmation of Ben Urich. He's one of the Man Without Fear's most famous supporting characters, and though he's interacted with Spider-Man on countless other occasions too, it's yet another nod to horn-head that'll get fans dreaming of a cameo.
The paper also clarifies Mary Jane Watson's role too, with Spidey's partner working as both a reporter and as the leader of the Bugle's own online webcast.
