Star Wars Battlefront: 10 Tiny Details Hardcore Fans Will Love
6. Looping Your First AT-AT
After many (and I do mean many) excruciating attempts at downing the lumbering imperial monstrosities, the moment came where I was finally able to down it with the harpoon cable. Fans of the original two Battlefronts will recall that, despite being a great deal more challenging than the rest of the series' mechanics, looping an AT-AT wasn't nearly as rewarding or as challenging as it should've been. This isn't the case at all in the reboot's 'Walker Assault' mode though, as a rebel victory hangs in the balance of a smooth flight plan and a well-timed cable launch when things are looking particularly hairy. Sure, there are other ways of bringing the walkers down (more effective ways might I add), but nothing comes close to matching the sense of achievement of looping them Skywalker style with your own T47 with just moments to spare. Your heart may be in your mouth for the excruciating moments spent circling the target, but your team will be more than thankful for your persistence in hastening the match's end.
