8. There'll Be Flashbacks To The Original Trilogy
Battlefront 2 is primarily going to be an intermediary entry in the Star Wars canon, but that doesn't mean it won't cast an eye back at events from the original trilogy. The developers have already taken the time to craft a wealth of iconic heroes and locations from the first three films, so implementing them in the main campaign wouldn't be too much trouble.
Also, flashbacks to events from the first trilogy could go a long way in fleshing out the motivations of Iden Versio and why she's so committed to the Empire.
We already know that her father is a big shot with access to the likes of Darth Vader and the Emperor, but if the game was to show huge moments from the original movies from the perspective of a young, frightened Versio, it could help players empathise with her even more.
Because lets face it: If you had grown up thinking the Empire was good and you had a bunch of shaggy-haired rebels blowing up your home, you'd probably spend the rest of your life trying to hunt them down, too.
