Star Wars Battlefront 2 Wishlist: 12 Things Fans Need To See
6. Meaningful Customisation
Eventually, yes, you'll get to unlock a number of alternate alien skins - with sizeable costs to boot - but for the most part, 'customisation' is both limited to head pieces until you rank up accordingly and unlock skins like the X-Wing pilot or Imperial Officer, and is mostly impossible to see during combat.
Again, this would only really work if DICE take the 'feel' of Battlefront away from being such a mad scramble - thereby letting you register another player's aesthetic before they're either blown to smithereens or kill you instead - but a far wider array of clothing options for our merry band of rebels wouldn't go amiss.
Same on the Imperial side. It relates entirely to the prequel era, but let us customise small yet noticeable aspects of Stormtrooper/clone army armour - give us colour strips and other helmet accessories and trims. Anything that makes our character feel like a worthwhile on-screen presence, instead of a fixture on the menu you only check out when randomly stumbling upon it.
