Star Wars Battlefront 2 Wishlist: 12 Things Fans Need To See
5. Treat The Customer With Respect
This might be akin to asking fire to stop being hot, but maybe - just maybe - EA could ease up on pilfering Star Wars fans for all their worth?
2015's release came in so many different configurations it'd make your head spin, and that's before you get to the £12 DLC packs that are only a few megabytes in size, meaning the maps themselves were already on-disc or part of the game's downloaded files.
It's very clear that the Star Card system was implemented with a microtransaction model in mind - the whole "This ability only has so many charges until you buy another" is straight out of mobile free-to-play - but there's only so much you can push the market in one direction before it snaps back.
Various prominent Youtubers such as Jeremy Jahns even took a very vocal stance against the game because of this setup, refusing to purchase any version, and insisting that until we all "vote with our wallets", EA will continue to take everyone for a ride.
This is all very true, but we're talking about "things fans want to see", and sadly, that can also include "being treated fairly".
