Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Ways It Can Save The Franchise
6. Bring Back Galactic Conquest
Galactic Conquest is easily the most fan-requested feature to return from the original two games in the series. There's no reason beyond laziness not to include it.
If you're unfamiliar with the Galactic Conquest mode, it essentially allowed players to create a campaign as compete in more than one match to try and take over as much as the galaxy as possible. It's similar to Battlefield 1's Operations, which makes it even more confusing as to why it's not been included in Battlefront yet.
Rather than making it into a multiplayer mode and having it never be played by the masses of deathmatch seeking gamers, EA should invest as much time as possible into making it into a expansive single-player and cooperative option.
Players loved Galactic Conquest because it was surprisingly deep and had a layer of strategy in it that the rest of the game didn't really have. With how simple the new Battlefront games are, injecting some of this same greatness into them sounds perfect.
If Battlefront 3 doesn't let players play what is essentially Risk: Star Wars edition, then EA clearly aren't listening.
