Star Wars Battlefront: 8 Past Features DICE Must Bring Back

5. A Campaign

Alright, I€™m not that naïve to say Battlefront's campaigns were amazing. Far from it, actually. The Battlefront campaigns were basically missions that showcased different maps that the game had to offer whilst throwing in a few objectives here and there. But the reason why this mode was popular was because of the story element it offered, which simply doesn€™t exist in Battlefront 2015. Battlefront 2 offered instant-action matches, yet the constant narration between each mission made it feel like you were part of your own Star Wars story. I know it might be wrong to say, but storming the Jedi temple on Coruscant and wiping out the Jedi Order was an epic moment as you began to relive the rise of the Empire. Having a single player element to any game is usually a lot of fun, because let€™s be honest, nobody wants to always play online. The missions offered by Battlefront 2015 are really enjoyable to play, it€™s just a shame DICE never expanded on this to tell a fun story which gave you an excuse to chop down hundreds of Stormtroopers or hunt down the Rebel Alliance with purpose.
