Street Fighter 5: 8 Improvements Capcom Must Make

2. A Steady Stream Of New Content

After already releasing a batch of six new characters to bolster the 16 on the disc, Capcom has already begun to tease even more. The trailer above showcases Akuma, and while we have no idea what it actually means, it does promise a new playable experience at the Capcom Cup in Anaheim.

Is Akuma a new playable character, or the boss of a brand new Arcade mode? Either way, the trailer above is proof that Capcom is dedicated to adding more to Street Fighter V- which is exactly what the game needs.

If Capcom can simply continue to simply release 6 characters a year, by the game's planned obsoletion date of 2020, it will have amassed to a monolithic roster of 46- just enough to push it over Street Fighter 4's final roster count, and become the largest non-crossover roster in the franchise's history.

Couple with more modes and game alterations, and Street Fighter V could eventually become the best game in franchise history.
