Summer Games Fest 2022: 20 Huge Video Game Announcements You Need To Know
9. Diablo IV Releases In 2023
Though Diablo IV was formally announced back in 2019, Blizzard gave fans a more comprehensive blow-out with a new cinematic reveal trailer during the Microsoft x Bethesda showcase, which introduced players to the game's fifth and final class, the Necromancer.
Furthermore, Blizzard confirmed the game would be releasing in 2023 for PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles, with crossplay and cross-progression enabled across all platforms.
Many noted on social media, however, that Diablo IV was one of the few games revealed during Microsoft's presentation that didn't feature any mention of Game Pass, though this may simply be a result of Microsoft waiting for their acquisition of Activision to clear before confirming its place on the service.
