Super Smash Bros. - 10 Characters Fans Demand Be Included
6. Ryu
Hes already torn-up one classic fighting series, so now could be the time to unleash Ryu on the Super Smash Bros. franchise. As Street Fighters most iconic character, Ryu is well-known to video game fans all over the world, as are many of his fighting moves. The hadouken would be a perfect long range attack, while any character that got too close would be dispatched by either his hurricane kick or dragon punch. Ryu would also open up the series to a number of other similar Street Fighter characters, including his alternate form Evil Ryu and Ken, which could take the form of standalone characters or simply different costumes. The only thing working against his appearance is that Nintendo may feel including him makes the gameplay too similarly to Street Fighter, and could want to keep Smash Bros. distinct from any other fighting game - only time will tell.
