Yes, Lucario is already included, though it isn't even pure fighting, so why not add a Pokémon to represent what Smash really is? Whenever you think of a fighting type Pokémon, Machamp is always one of the first to come to mind.
Having everything necessary to be an awesome fighter in Smash Bros, Machamp can do a lot of damage very quickly with his four powerful arms. Of course, this would come with the cost of basically no range to his attacks and a weak recovery to keep things balanced.
One of Machamp's alternate costumes can be based on its awesome green shiny form, and if you need more convincing, just look how cool he is in Pokkén Tournament.
