34. Gigas

Is he Marduk, is he not?

Who knows, but either way this new 'heavy' character, Gigas, packs a massive punch and little else.

That character design is fantastic - even if he does look like a Metal Gear boss - but Gigas really is a "What you see is what you get" kind of character. His combos don't come all that easy, though thanks to some very high damage you can devastate a beginner player with some well-placed haymakers and retreat-return movement.

Thanks to such a simple setup, he's also great for newcomers to the franchise, but for those of us who want just a little bit of speed and technicality to our fighters, Gigas doesn't even come close.
