Telltale Games: 10 TV Shows They Should Adapt

4. Heroes

Background: Heroes ran for four seasons on NBC between 2006 and 2010 before being cancelled, but it's resurfaced five years later as Heroes Reborn, airing September 24th.

Why It Should: It's no secret that the original plan for Heroes was for the series to change up its cast every season to tell new stories with new heroes and villains, but that plan disintegrated once NBC saw how popular the first season and its characters were. Years later, Reborn is trying that concept, though it's tempered by the fact that a handful of characters from the original series are returning.

Telltale could easily capitalize on it as well, wiping the slate clean to tell a story set anywhere and anytime, using aspects of the show's mythology as a jumping off point. Throw in a sensible cameo here or there from familiar faces and offer some solid writing and it'd already be in better shape than the original series was by the end of its run.

Alternate NBC Series Choice: It's a niche choice, but seeing another story from Hannibal, either as a prequel or as a follow-up to where we last saw Bedelia Du Maurier, would be slick, especially if nothing further - a miniseries, a movie, etc. - ever comes down the line from the now-cancelled series.
