3.A Crossover With The Elder Scrolls: Legends?

An Elder Scrolls spin-off title is due to be released some time this year, and it comes in the form of strategy card game: Elder Scrolls Legends. The game will be available on mobile devices and for PC, and it's expected to be similar to the likes of Hearthstone.

It's a nice idea, and hardly surprising given the popularity of this type of spin-off these days. Don't expect it to be a mere flash in the pan, however; Bethesda are rarely as frivolous with anything that they tie to their biggest hitters.

Similarly to the way Gwent ties into the gameplay of The Witcher, many people are already talking about the way a competitive card game could fit into the environment of a new Elder Scrolls game. After all; wouldn't it be nice to win money in a tavern without having to beat someone to a pulp in a fist-fight?
