If you felt like Bethesda had been a little quiet about Rage 2 in recent months, fear not, because they unleashed a new trailer for the open-world shooter during The Game Awards, which once again emphasised how utterly ludicrous it looks (albeit with decidedly less Andrew W.K. than usual, sadly).

And finally, Bethesda also revealed that Rage 2 will be releasing on May 14 next year, smartly keeping it far away from the wallet-busting onslaught of Q1 and closer to the typically quieter summer months.

While this showing probably didn't change any on-the-fence gamers' impressions of the game, Avalanche Studios sure does seem fully committed to the demented insanity on offer.
