Hey! Remember this game? The exceptionally-promising idea coming from a dual-development between the developers behind Tomb Raider and Deus Ex? Yes, The Avengers game that Square Enix announced several years ago has gone dark ever since its announcement trailer, and no updates have been put out. How is it progressing? What will it look like? You just may find out in only a couple of days.

With the recent announcement that Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo would be making an appearance at the show, gamers have been wildly speculating as to what they could announce. Infinity War 2 likely won't unveil anything until some time closer to its release date, so what could it be? Is there anything their presence would be more fitting for than this title?

The hype would be through the roof and it even could close out the show if the footage is promising enough. This would really provide the evening with a jump-up-and-cheer moment that can be rare during these Award shows.

Then again, they could be there to announce some kind of Fortnite/Avengers crossover thing too. But, there's no way they'd pull something cruel like that, right?

...Right?
