The Legend Of Zelda: 10 Most Powerful Items
7. Biggoron's Sword
Obtaining Biggoron’s sword is no mean feat. One of the longest trading quests in Zelda history, this is a one shot deal - Link has one opportunity to carry out the sequence of tasks that nets you this colossal blade. Mess it up, and that’s your opportunity gone.
The rewards, though, are great. Aside from the sense of achievement from pulling off such a lengthy, Hyrule-traversing quest, once you’re armed with Biggoron’s sword, you’ll be ready to take on the world. While it lacks the mystical, evil-banishing powers of other weaponry (for whatever mystical reason, Ganon won’t fall to this sword), it makes up for that with sheer brute force.
A two-handed weapon, Biggoron’s sword deals out incredible damage, and is a useful tool for battles with Dark Link as well as the first stage of the final boss. It’s an imposing weapon, towering above Link as he holds it, and with a sufficient range to make up for the fact that you can’t carry a shield.
It makes an appearance as an amiibo bonus in Breath Of The Wild, and while it’s not quite as cool (it can now break), it’s still one of the more powerful swords you can get your hands on.
