The Sims 4: 10 Past Features EA Should’ve Never Taken Out
2. More Neighbourhoods
The Sims 4 base game only comes with 2 neighbourhoods - Oasis Springs and Willow Creek. You get another if you buy the Outdoor Retreat Expansion Pack and The Sims have since added a new neighbourhood downloadable on the site, so at least you have those - but surely a few more neighbourhoods in the base game would've been better?
To make matters worse, you only have a set amount of lots on the terrain, you're not able to create/place new ones and you can't edit an existing public lot or anything in the respective neighbourhood. The lots are also far smaller than they were before with your biggest being 50 x 50, where in previous games the biggest was normally 64 x 64. For a sequel it's pretty strange, isn't it?
One of the magical things that players loved about the Sims titles of yesteryear was the fact that you could make the town your own... but now that's just a distant memory.
