6. Forefather's Eve

Cleaving enemies in two and lopping the occasional bandit off is always a great visual spectacle, and although the late-game does bring about some far more engaging battles, it's something that makes other quests like Forefather's Eve stand out all the more. Taking place after you've met the Pellar and finished his main quest in relation to the Bloody Baron, you'll then partake in a fantastic bout of wraith-slaughtering as both the he and his followers attempt a seaside ritual. At some point it'll be interrupted by a spirit with great significance to the Pellar, and you'll then have the option to tie that loose end up as well, ending your interaction with an otherwise ancillary character in very neat way.
