Being the one that started it all, the introduction to the franchise broke new ground with its fantastic first outing, immediately inaugurating the pro skater name into the PlayStation hall of fame.
This initial entry quickly became revered in the video game industry, almost as hastily as it aged, with its successors innovating, tweaking and fine-tuning the elements that made the original a household name by vastly building on the foundation laid.
The first entry's biggest drawback is that it doesn’t incorporate some of the biggest staples of the series. The spine transfer, manual (and every variation of it) are vacant from the initial experience.
