TYOA: 8 Forgotten Video Game DLCs You NEED To Play

7. Infamous: Festival of Blood

Infamous: Festival of Blood was a DLC expansion for Infamous 2 and arrived in that glorious era where shamelessly silly DLCs were commonplace, following in the footsteps of 2010's Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare.

Festival of Blood is a non-canon Infamous story in which protagonist Cole McGrath is turned into a vampire and fights to have his condition undone, set across the backdrop of a Halloween-like holiday called Pyre Night.

The brilliant novelty of this DLC is that it ditches Cole's traditional electricity-based superpowers in favour of awesome vampiric abilities, such as turning into a swarm of bats in order to fly around the city of New Marais.

Though it's only a bite-sized experience compared to the full-fat Infamous 2 and has no real bearing on the franchise's lore, that's precisely why Festival of Blood is so damn fun - it's a low-stakes but highly creative expansion the sort of which we desperately need more of.
