TYOA: 8 Forgotten Video Game DLCs You NEED To Play
2. Nier: Automata - 3C3C1D119440927
As phenomenally successful as Nier: Automata was, not nearly enough people talk about its first and only DLC pack, "3C3C1D119440927," released three months after the main game.
Sure, the number-salad title makes it tough to namedrop to your friends, but as DLCs go it's one of the most compellingly bizarre of the last decade - if not ever.
Though the DLC isn't huge, it offers a far stranger experience than its arena challenges and fan-serving costumes might initially suggest.
Hilariously, because this is a game from Yoko Taro, of course the DLC includes boss fights with Square Enix and PlatinumGames presidents Yosuke Matsuda and Kenichi Sato of all people.
Yes, it's short and easily missed, but 3C3C1D119440927 is also an impressively challenging and hilariously bizarre DLC that adds another deranged wrinkle to one of the most unforgettably weird mainstream video games of all time.
And again, you get some awesome outfits out of it.
