8 Terrible Games That Didn't DESERVE Sequels
3. Two Worlds
Two Worlds is a 2007 action-RPG infamous for several reasons - its dated graphics, infuriating interface, and most of all its utterly shambolic voice acting, which was largely performed by staff at developer Reality Pump in place of professional performers.
There's Eurojank and then there's... whatever the fresh hell Two Worlds is. A Hall of Fame-tier example of a developer biting off more than they can chew.
Yet folk sure do love their RPGs, and so Two Worlds was a solid seller regardless, resulting in the release of the comically monikered Two Worlds II in 2010.
But credit where it's due - this sequel was a marked improvement over its predecessor, from its more polished gameplay to its professional voice acting.
It certainly still had its rough edges and didn't fully escape the Eurojank label, but there was a much clearer alignment between the ambition of the dev team and the final game they released.
Two Worlds III was announced more than a decade ago, though considering how little we've heard about it lately, it doesn't seem terribly likely to ever see the light of day.
