8 Massive Predictions For Universal Studios' Nintendo Theme Park

7. Princess Peach's Castle

Since it first opened, Disney World's Magic Kingdom has been visually defined by Cinderella's Castle. Not only does the castle work as an icon for the park, translating its magic to the world at large, it also literally acts as a focal point for everything that surrounds it, orientating park-goers as they traverse the rest of the Magic Kingdom. Of course, Disney and Universal Studios are two distinct companies, but that makes it even more likely that Universal might attempt to find an equivalent.

When you think about it, it just makes sense. The last huge Universal Studios theme park section to be constructed was the Harry Potter world, and it to was visually established by its recreation of Hogwarts School. To build a massive replica of Princess Peach's Castle, then €“ which prominently features in Super Mario 64 but has appeared in countless Nintendo titles over the years €“ would make a massive amount of sense.

Imagine seeing Peach's castle at the centre of the park, complete with moat and stained glass window. Going a step further, what if visitors could actually enter the castle? It could be used as both a way to easily traverse the Nintendo theme park while also featuring its own enticing attraction, various rooms decked out with Nintendo-themed paintings like in Super Mario 64.
