Visceral’s Star Wars Han Solo Game: 9 Things You Need To Know
7. ...As Are Todd Stashwick And Jade Raymond
An accumulative level of talent is proving to be Visceral Games' current hallmark, but things get especially exciting when you begin to wonder what exactly is drawing so many people to the project. Sure, Star Wars is more than good reason to lend your name to a title in a heartbeat, but what the studio is trying to do with the universe must be especially enticing to get people like Jade Raymond and Todd Stashwick involved. Stashwick has only really dabbled in writing recently, but has appeared in numerous television programmes in different roles - most recently in Fox's Batman prequel series, Gotham. In terms of gaming, Visceral's Star Wars project seems to be his first adventure in the medium, but given past warm receptions to the scribe's work, gaming can only be a natural fit. Raymond however is very much a mainstay of the medium, having been the executive producer on Assassin's Creed II and Splinter Cell: Blacklist among other, highly successful franchises. Raymond left Ubisoft Toronto in 2014, and having taken on the head role at EA's Motive Studios, will now be overseeing Visceral's Star Wars project in tandem with Amy Hennig. It makes for a creative tour de force that we can only hope translates well to Star Wars, but only time will tell if it does.
