Visceral’s Star Wars Han Solo Game: 9 Things You Need To Know

8. Ex-Uncharted Lead Amy Hennig Is On Board

The champion of one of the gaming medium's most popular and critically acclaimed franchises of all time - Uncharted's Amy Hennig - is the creative director for Visceral's Star Wars title. Having left the development of Uncharted 4 over undisclosed reasons, the veteran writer found herself in a new role at Visceral - what we now know to be as the creative director of a new Star Wars title. This is pretty amazing for a number of reasons I won't bother delving too deeply into, but honestly, if you're not familiar with at least some of her work at this stage, you really should get busy doing so. Having written three of the Uncharted series' main adventures, Hennig has attained a level of reverence as a writer none too many in the industry are able to match, but it's with good reason that she's garnered such accolades. Between her extensive workings on the likes of Jak and Daxter, Nathan Drake et al., the writer has displayed a fantastic awareness of how to write relatable characters - a skill that will no doubt transfer over to her role as creative director for this as-yet-untitled Star Wars game.
