Visceral’s Star Wars Han Solo Game: 9 Things You Need To Know
3. 1313's Assets Are Getting Used
I'm just going to flat out say now that 1313's cancellation was by far the worst thing to come out of Disney's acquisition of LucasFilm. Whilst the franchise has benefitted overwhelmingly as a result of the deal - with a creative resurgence occurring in both print and film - it's hard to get over just how much of a shame it was to see what looked to be LucasArts' redeemer canned with little thought. Thankfully it would appear as though 1313 - or at least elements of it - aren't being put to waste, but are in fact making their way into the newest iterations of the Star Wars license. It would make sense, considering just how well received 1313 was in both its existence and in its demise, and the fact we've heard straight from Nolan North regarding its similarities with Uncharted. The 1313 namesake and locale is clearly in the minds of people at LucasFilm as well, as it recently appeared in Christie Golden's superb novel, 'Dark Disciple', itself a new addition to the ever-evolving Star Wars canon. Things get even more interesting when you consider Boba Fett's presence in Visceral's social media output, along with the fact that we're aware that 1313's assets aren't being put to waste. Could this mean we see Fett's relationship with Solo explored somewhat?
