The Walking Dead Season 2 New Trailer: 10 Eye-Catching Moments
3. Help From The Unlikeliest Of Places
Clementine gets into trouble with walkers: no surprises there. What is surprising is that her salvation comes in the form of Carlos, the doctor who demanded that she stay away from his daughter (somewhat understandable as she was manipulated ever-so-slightly by Clem) and expressed significant doubts in letting her stay with the group. The multiple choice narrative of The Walking Dead being what it is, it's sometimes hard to say exactly what elements remain constant throughout each player's game, but it's safe to say that All That Remains ends with Carlos mad at Clementine for everyone, so I'm sure he'll be key to the story for at least a couple of episodes and give her a chance to redeem herself in his eyes. Of course, it's not that shocking: Carlos clearly isn't a monster, and as a physician he certainly doesn't want harm to befall anyone who doesn't deserve it, least of all a little girl who just wants to stay alive. And perhaps his reason for being so harsh on Clem in the first place is that he doesn't want to grow attached to her and risk the possibility of losing two daughters instead of just one. Obviously Clementine and Carlos' relationship will deepen and gain complexity as the season continues, and I'm keen to see it do so. Fingers crossed that Doctor C makes it to episode three, eh?
