Watch Dogs: 10 Reasons It Might Disappoint

4. Story Time Sends Us To Sleep

Watch Dogs Train Jump1 Don't adjust your eyeballs, yes, that is Aiden jumping on top of a train. It looks exciting, but will the storyline behind Watch Dogs be compelling enough to make this a brand new franchise for the foreseeable future? Unfortunately I see the storyline of Watch Dogs being bogged down in corporate and or techy nonsense - it is after all set in a world of hackers and where there's sci-fi, there's potential for plots that go crazy. The best sci-fi, in my opinion, is one that balances flashy tech and futuristic elements with an interesting storyline that actually gives us a hook into the world. The premise of Watch Dogs, with its hacking and elements of being in control, is interesting. It could so easily be poorly done though and I'm really, really hoping that it delivers in terms of storyline. Will it though? Will we care about Aiden's plight? Only time will tell.
