Watch Entire Microsoft E3 2012 Conference Here
Watch the entire near-100 minutes of this year's Microsoft E3 conference...
As the dust settles after this year's E3 conference, we will be picking apart all of the major games, offering coverage of every single game, from news through to previews, features and reviews, but until then, with the event still in full swing, and the information landing in our laps with furious frequency, it's nice to be able to sit back and enjoy the news in substantial chunks. With that in mind, we present the entire Microsoft E3 Conference below, including trailers for such mega upcoming titles as Tomb Raider, Halo 4, Gears of War: Judgment, Forza Horizon, Black Ops II and Resident Evil 6. You can also read our responses to the Microsoft conference here (taking in the major games) and here (dealing with the announcements of Ascend, Lococycle and Matter). All-in-all, it wasn't the most surprising of conferences from the game publishing giant, but it was one packed with quality, with good signs from personal favourite Fable: The Journey, and the very welcome unveiling of the new Forza and Gears of War titles, though the latter comes with the caveat that the star of the prequel show will be the largely unlikable Baird. It will be interesting at least to see how dev People Can Fly will handle that sticking point, and how they can apply the lessons learned from Bulletstorm to the new GOW title. Elsewhere we had the unveiling of XBox Music - Microsoft's timely Spotify style streaming program - and XBox SmartGlass, which looks like a direct attempt to deflect attention away from the Wii U with second screen functionality, from extra content to interactions. Very clever move that. Then there was Nike + Kinect Training, and the Usher-annouced Dance Central 3, all unveiled against a backdrop of typical pomp and circumstance - this was E3 after all. Anyway here it is. Prepare for just under one hundred minutes of pure unadulterated Microsoft joy... http://youtu.be/IsA_lEOV_7M
