3. It's Technologically Redundant

Just take a look at these screenshots; how embarrassing is it for the Wii U that a game released on their brand new platform and one that's 8 years old end up looking exactly the same? Though it's only fair to note that the developers likely couldn't be bothered overhauling the graphics for the Wii U port, one would've expected they at least might have given it a light gloss of new paint; troubling images like this do little to help the reputation of the console, which so far appears to have relied on a lot of lazy ports to sell itself. Though the Wii U is said to be only scarcely capable of more than the PS3 and Xbox 360, we need to
see exactly what this means; so far, it just seems that the Wii U is essentially a generation behind, and when the PS4 and Xbox 720 unveil themselves soon, they're naturally going to make the Wii U look very archaic indeed. Further still, the problem with the console seeming so basic is that when developers get to work on sequels for Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty and Mass Effect, the Wii U won't be able to handle them, so they'll be left in the dust.
