WWE 13: 10 Attitude Era Storylines That Must be Included

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon

Delving deeper into the circumstances surrounding the Rock vs. Austin feud, the Stone Cold€™s vendetta against the very company that employed him is almost a play for play account of what the Attitude era was all about. It was surely one of the most electrifying storylines in the history of the company, and saw Steve Austin taking literally no crap from anyone, like, ever. Of course it didn€™t start that way and maybe that€™s what made it so satisfying. Initially bending to McMahon€™s will and donning more corporate attire, Austin rebelled at the last moment, low-blowing his boss and ripping off the suit. It was, for me, the moment that set the stage for the entire Attitude era. Two performers with seemingly infinite wells of charisma of a very different variety, Austin played the part of the pissed of Texan employee to perfection, while McMahon was also totally believable in his role as the soulless, morally bankrupt business man. The rivalry between them tapped into the audiences very real mistrust of major organisations that has probably bubbled underneath the surface since wrestling was invented, and enabled fans to live vicariously through Austin. Because who hasn't imagined pulling off a Stunner on their boss? We€™d really expect to see this as one of WWE 13€™s major playable storylines; if we didn€™t we€™d be scratching our heads as to why. It€™d have to begin of course with Austin€™s initial rebellion, but it could go on to incorporate several other feuds and story arcs which were all dragged in to this Universe defining chain of events. There's only a couple of months left now until WWE 13 is released and we are positively tapping out with excitement. Who's storylines are you looking forward to getting your hands on? Anything we missed? Do let us know!
