2. The Rock vs. Stone Cold
If there were ever two emblems of WWEs most renowned era, itd be these two. Both performers were catapulted by the era to levels of fame that only wrestling can provide, and a huge part of that success was in their first major feud during The Rocks stint as The Corporate Champion. The key to any great feud is chemistry. Some pairings have it, some pairings dont, but sometimes (and it seemed to happen quite often during the Attitude era), a feud comes along in which the two rivals have spectacular, electrifying chemistry that fills an arena with screams. Disbelief is completely suspended. You had Austin who played by no one elses rules and The Rock who, at the time, was begrudgingly playing by all of them. Ive no doubt that this feud will be a major storyline in WWE 13 given bother superstars inclusion in the roster; it was most definitely one of the foundations in ushering in the Attitude era and gave the rest of the WWE roster something to strive towards. It proved success was no longer just in gimmicky characters, outrageous costumes or wacky moves; it was in the Attitude.
